UNDERSTAND THE CUT

Three checks worth making.

01

Measure waist and rise

Check whether the chart lists flat waist width or full circumference. Front rise and thigh width change the fit too.

02

Check inseam and leg opening

Compare against a pair you own to understand whether the cut is tapered, straight or wide.

03

Confirm fabric and stretch

A drawstring or elastic waist does not tell you how the fabric stretches. Read composition and option details on the live product.

PANTS QUESTIONS

Clear up the details.

Waist labels alone do not explain how a pair will fit.

Is the waist measurement a width or a circumference?

Check the chart’s labels and measurement diagram. A flat waistband width and the full circumference are different values. Ask the seller to clarify an ambiguous chart before comparing it with your own pair.

Should I compare total length or inseam?

Use the measurement that the chart actually provides. Total length runs down the outside of the trousers; inseam starts at the crotch. Rise changes their relationship, so do not substitute one for the other.

How do I compare straight and wide-leg cuts?

Look at thigh width, knee width and leg opening alongside rise and length. Compare a pair you own laid flat. A front photo or the words “relaxed fit” do not give the whole shape.

What should I check before shipping?

Do the stored pair’s measurements match? If you requested measurements, compare them with the selected size chart and your reference pair. Ask for clarification while the item is still in the warehouse.

Have you checked both sides? Review front and back photos for the selected wash, pocket layout, hem and visible condition. Check any belt or detachable part that should be included with the option.

Are any pairs awaiting a return? Keep items with unresolved sizing or return requests out of the shipment. Review the final item list before combining several pairs into one parcel.
